Friday's exam you build on Thursday from your units. By Monday you already know which question half the class missed.
Ten question types, audio and reading, AI grading of written and spoken answers, and results that tell you who to write to.
No card. Three tries a day without creating an account.
You write the questions, or the AI prepares them from your documents.
Both ways end in the same editor. What the AI writes lands as a draft and you review it question by question before a student sees it.
With the AI, from your units
You mark the course documents, choose how many questions of each type and see the cost in credits before asking. In one or two minutes the exam opens in the editor as a draft. The spoken answer is not generated by AI.
By hand, in the editor
You write the prompt, mark the correct answer and, if you want, add an audio of up to 10 MB, the explanation and the points. “Step by step” decides the rest for you. “My way” shows every option.
What you decide about the exam
Everything has a default, so an exam is ready in five minutes. Each thing changes in “My way”.
- 01Attempts from 1 to 99, or unlimited. With several, the best grade counts.
- 02Time in minutes or no limit, with 2 minutes of grace to submit.
- 03Questions in a different order for each student, if you turn it on.
- 04Points spread across the questions on their own, by section or one by one.
- 05Opening and closing date, or no closing.
- 06A notice to your students when you publish it and when it opens.
One question at a time, the exam map below and their grade on submitting.
- 01A start screen with the time, the questions, the points and an audio and microphone check.
- 02One question per screen, the section map below, mark for review and autosave.
- 03A reading text stays in view while they answer the questions of that section.
- 04On submitting, their grade, what they answered and the correct answer for each question, with what each one earned.
- 05The explanation you wrote appears once they submitted their last attempt.
- 06“Report a problem with this question” for 14 days, with four reasons and their explanation.
- 07Their place in the group table, with the time they took.
Three questions about your class, and an action next to each answer.
- 01How did your class do? Each student is a dot at their grade, with the passing mark and who did not take it.
- 02What was hardest for them? The 3 questions with the most mistakes and the wrong answer they chose most, with who chose it.
- 03What can you do now? Reopen the exam, write to whoever is not signing in, answer a report, review where the AI hesitated.
- 04The AI hesitated. A written or spoken answer with partial points waits for you. You keep the points or change them.
- 05Reports. Accept another answer, change the correct one, void the question or adjust one student. Grades recalculate and you can undo.
- 06Advanced mode. Question by question with right, partial, wrong and unanswered. Student by student with grade, time and device.
- 07Download as Excel, CSV and PDF. The gradebook takes each one's best attempt.
- 08Private note and XP per student, seen only by that student.
Ten ways to ask. Eight grade themselves and two the AI reviews with you.
